Living in Halfmoon Area

Saratoga County is one of the fastest-growing counties in New York state! Surrounded by excellent schools, colleges, restaurants, local attractions and the historic Saratoga Race Course, Saratoga county is a fantastic place to work and live. With close proximity to the Adirondacks, New York City, Boston, Montreal and various other Northeast locations, its central location is ideal for families and professionals alike. Our communities are a short drive from the lively City of Saratoga Springs, which offers world-class attractions, such as the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), Saratoga Spa State Park, mineral springs and a lively wellness-based community. The City of Albany is the state’s capital city, and is the home to numerous higher education, business headquarters and exciting urban development. We are also building in Clifton Park, a family-oriented community with the expansive Shenendehowa school district.


My wife and I moved into Cedar Pointe in January 2020. We sold our home in Lake George and were looking in the Saratoga region for a smaller home that would accommodate our needs, as we are both retired. This is our fifth home and we had a good idea how the building process works. We drove through the Cedar Pointe development and were immediately drawn to this area because of the style of homes being built and this secluded area that is close to everything we need. We stopped at the model home and recognized the quality of the construction and the layout of the home and made our decision then to contract with Abele builders.We worked with Maureen and Phyllis during the design process and laid out our ideas about the construction and interior design. Moe and Phyllis were delightful to work with and made this a seamless process. We are very pleased with the home and the entire process with Abele.
