The past year has been an exciting time in Saratoga County with the following news announcements:

  2. Global Foundries announced that it finalized its purchase of approximately 800 acres of additional land next to its current manufacturing facility in Malta, NY.      As the market for semi-conductors expands, this purchase demonstrates Global Foundries commitment to growth in Malta, NY. According to a Global Foundries press release, “GF employs approximately 2,500 people in Malta, New York, and to date has invested more than $15 billion in the facility.”

Abele Homes is proud to be building new home communities in southern Saratoga County, right in the center of the Capital District and a close and easy commute to Global Foundries Malta NY campus.

Abele's closest communities are Wellington Court in Clifton Park (located off Exit 8/I-87) and Juniper Ridge in Halfmoon (located off Exit 9/I-87). Both new communities are within 20-25 minutes to both Malta and Saratoga Springs. Additionally, our communities are located within the highly regarded Shenendehowa School District. In recent years, the Town of Halfmoon has been among the fastest-growing counties in New York state, partly due to its easy access to Interstate 87, commonly referred to as "The Northway."

If you’re looking for a new job in the Capital Region, a place like Juniper Ridge or Wellington Court may check all the right boxes. Our communities offer a low-maintenance lifestyle with an HOA that will handle lawn care and snow removal for you. From single floor living to large colonial floorplans, there’s something for nearly everyone here.

If you are unsure of the overall area or what type of community might suit you best, feel free to reach out to us at Abele.  From the first time you contact us, you will find our family helpful in getting you settled and pointed in the right direction.  We are also happy to help you learn about our new home communities or set up a time to view one of our model homes. The Abele family has been building homes in the Capital Region for over 40 years and is proud to call the area home.

I’m extremely happy with my home built by Abele Builders in the maintenance free community of Glen Meadows. It came to a point in my life where I wanted to downsize to an easy care house, but still desired to live in an independent home. The home has exceeded my expectations. I spent many months researching various builders within our county. It was important to find a quality built home with a design that fit my needs. I needed a community in a country setting, but very convenient to major roads and services. I got all that and more with my choice of Glen Meadows. The location is perfect and the building materials and workmanship are excellent. From beginning to end the Abele staff made the building process easy. I’ve built two other homes and have had to travel to many vendors to make my choices. The Abele Builders Design Center provided quality choices all at one location. The entire team was always efficient and responsive to my questions and concerns. Besides the ease of interior maintenance, the bonus of a well-insulated house has resulted in low utility costs that are much appreciated. I hope my positive experience will encourage you to join the Abele built community.
